Working in the hot shop: The basics.

I often take trips to Portland, OR. to visit friends and work at Old Town Glass. I worked as an assistant to Peter Neff at Old Town Glass for almost three years while I lived in Portland and now I look forward to every visit. Here are a few shots my good friend and assistant Shannon Reddoch took of me working (in 2004). Shannon not only helps me with the hot glass tasks, but will also grab the camera (or my camera phone as in this case) and take a picture to help me document the process.
